it takes about 3-5 hours depending on the canal traffic.
you go thru 2 sets of locks, "pedro miguel" and"miraflores".
it is a short trip and very nice. i have taken this trip about 35 times aprox.
make sure, you have sunscreen lotion with you when you take the trip.
there are local companies that do these type of trips.
sunday......................................learn about old panama(panama la vieja,1519-1671),
and colonial panama(casco antiguo, 1673-to the present)
time factor involved.....aprox 4-6 hours, depending on the trafffic.
also bring sunscreen lotion, and a poncho just in case.
very nice trip, i have done this trip aprox 35 times.

starts around 800am and finishes at 200pm. depending on the canal traffic.
time are estimates.
